YumeTwins is a kawaii goods box shipped worldwide from Tokyo! Each box includes 6 to 8 cute licensed items from popular Japanese brands. They include a variety of things, like plushies, stationary, and squishies. They focus on curating a selection of unique and quality goods around a monthly theme.

For February 2018, the theme is “Pretty Picnic!” Since spring is around the corner, they’ve included a variety of goods aimed around eating outdoors. They also have returned to including a paper booklet with each box, as well as the online zine. Hooray! I do like thumbing through the booklet.  The zine includes information on the items, contests, community photos, the Yume Prize, and cultural topics. It’s also designed well, matching the kawaii feeling of the 6 items included.

Hedgehog Plushie

This adorable hedgehog plushie is so perfect. It’s easily one of my favorite plushies from YumeTwins. The quality and softness of the fur is great. It also sits up quite well, so you’re able to have an animal friend at your picnic.

Sumikko Gurashi Melamine Cup

Hooray for Sumikko Gurashi! It’s one of my favorite character series. There are 4 possible designs on this sturdy plastic cup.  I really like that the design continues on the inside of the cup as well.

Kawaii Character Spoon

This large plastic spoon is decorated with a kawaii character. I got the cat (Neko) from the Sumikk Gurashi series! So cute! It’s designed for ramen, with a hook on the end of the handle and a deep, flattened scoop. The quality is great, and perfect for soup in chilly weather.

Disney Tsum Tsum Snack Container

This plastic snack container is decorated with Tsum Tsum characters, with 4 possible designs. It’s large enough to fit a decent portion of snacks, fruit, sweets, or whatever else you’d like to munch on. This is the third tableware item in the box, making this box very useful! The booklet recommends hand washing and not microwaving all three items.

Disney Bread Squishies

This month’s squishie is a round bread decorated with a Disney character image. I got an Alien design from the Toy Story movies on my squishie. It’s super cute, but the image seems a little faded. The squishie itself smells nice and is fun to play with.

Colorful & Cute Highligher

The last item is a highlighter for planning your picnic or decorating picnic bags. I got a very bright orange color. It writes very smoothly, and includes one fine tip and one broad tip.

This month’s box was great! They always include a good mix of useful and cute items, as well as a variety of different characters. My favorites were easily the Sumikko Gurashi spoon and cup. The hedgehog plushie is also one of my favorite plushies I’ve gotten from YumeTwins!
