The theme for February’s Loot Anime box is “Together”, and it’s all about the special bonds between friends and family. This box features items from One Piece, Haikyu, The Boy and the Beast, and Mr. Osomatsu!

Loot Anime is part of the Loot Crate family. Each box contains 4-6 items from various animes that are all related to the monthly theme. The items are all fully licensed, and many are exclusive to Loot Anime boxes. They also include one manga volume and (usually) one item of clothing.
Loot Anime always lists their product information on the back of a custom designed poster featuring their mascot, Yume. This month’s artwork is beautiful as usual, although I have to admit I’m not sure how it ties into the theme aside from her cute little companion.
The first item this month is a figurine of Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece. This version is from the new movie One Piece Film: Gold. I don’t follow the show and haven’t seen the movie, but I can still appreciate the amazing level of detail on this figurine. It comes carefully wrapped and requires some easy assembly, but it stands very well and looks fantastic.
Rear view of the figurine. That striped bow!
Side view! Look at his intense expression!
Loot Anime usually includes a volume of manga each month, but for the last few months they’ve been providing light novels instead. This month’s novel is The Boy and the Beast by Mamoru Hosoda, based on the animated Japanese film about a lonely boy who trains with a beastly swordsmaster. It’s another one I have yet to see, but it’s gotten great reviews and has been recommended to me by many people.
Loot Anime also includes a charm each month featuring Yume. This month she’s in her pirate costume and cuddling her cute little companion. Every charm comes with a fabric loop, a lobster clasp, and a headphone jack plug so you have many options regarding where to wear it.
Why, hello. Who could possibly be in this blind bag?
It’s an Osomatsu-san charm! This item celebrates the release of the new Mr. Osomatsu anime series, which is a ten-years-later sequel to the original Osomatsu-kun manga. The original manga is a classic released in 1962 about identical sextuplet brothers. I don’t know much about the series, but I do recognize these characters! Each charm comes with a (fake) sweet treat. My Osomatsu came with a yellow Dum-Dum-like lollipop, but subscribers could have received other variations.
There is always at least one item of clothing in each Loot Anime box, and this month it’s a t-shirt featuring the boys of Haikyuu! My boyfriend is modeling the size Small here. I’ve just started watching this series, but so far I find it very endearing. I don’t usually enjoy sports animes, but this one is about so much more than volleyball that I find myself making an exception. This shirt has a great design featuring the main characters looking adorably tough. It feels high quality and is made of a nice, heavier material.
Overall, I continue to enjoy my Loot Anime subscription! I really like that everything is good quality and licensed – no knock offs here! They also tend to focus on more popular shows and series, which means that I’m more likely to find items that I like, but still manage to surprise me and introduce me to new animes. This is a great subscription for anyone who enjoys anime and manga, and I absolutely recommend checking it out!
