This review is for the Imperial Box which covers China and Taiwan. This box was packed FULL of delicious snacks. Seriously. Packed. FULL.

Each box also contains an inspirational magnet. My fridge has a wooden front, but I keep all the magnets from my sub boxes on my washing machine.

This quote really speaks to me. I’ve recently started back to running and though I run like a turtle stuck in peanut butter, I always keep going! So let’s keep going with this review (see what I did there?!) and get to the good stuff!

First up, Chopsticks:

I was excited to get a new pair of chopsticks in the box! I have a few sets, some plastic, some metal, some wood. And the problem with most of the plastic ones is that they are really slippery. But THESE chopsticks are textured at the bottom to help grip your food. Ingenious! I can’t wait to order some take out and use these!

Ok, now on to the food!

Pineapple Cake:

These little cakes are the cutest things I’ve ever seen!

Seriously, look how cute!

They have a buttermilk crust and are filled with pineappley goodness! These come from Taiwan, and are really delicious!

Crispy Peanut Candy:

These came in two flavors but they both tasted very similar. They reminded me a little bit of butterfingers, but lighter.

These are a popular treat for Chinese New Year. I really enjoyed them! I might have to hunt them down on the interwebs.

Crunchcoco:

I had high hopes for these! They’re chocolate cookies infused with milk and almonds. They weren’t bad, but a little dry for my taste.

Matcha Choco Roll:

I expected chocolate, but really it was covered in white chocolate! Not a bad surprise, as that definitely goes better with green tea flavor!

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I bit into this cookie, but I was blown away once the flavor hit my tongue! Holy wow, this thing was DELICIOUS! I want more. I want more right now.

If you aren’t into green tea, you will not like this. But if you’re a fan, definitely get your hands on these!

ChaCha Potato Cracker:

I’ve never seen these before, but I’ve never met a potato I didn’t like, so I was curious. Then I saw the flavors and I was a little concerned I wouldn’t like them. I have a healthy case of GERD and spicy foods are something I typically avoid. But for the sake of being a good reviewer I tried them both.

I pretty quickly ate them all. They’re delicious! The flavors are 100% what you might expect, but they’re lightly flavored so it’s not overwhelming. I was also really surprised to see that these are fairly low in calories. Each package had a ton of crackers in it, but were only two servings. Definitely need more to help curb my potato chip habit.

White Rabbit Candy:

These are almost exactly like vanilla Tootsie Rolls. SO GOOD! They’re a bit harder, so my jaw got quite a workout eating them, but totally worth it! So yummy!

Chrysanthemum Tea:

Confession: I didn’t try this one. It’s tea, and I think it’s loose tea. I’m a little too lazy to deal with loose tea, so I’m going to give this to my Stepmom to try. It smells great though, so I’m sure it’s tasty!

Bin Bin Rice Cracker:

That might be upside down… I can’t read the language so I have no idea. Anyway… I LOVED these. LOVED THEM! They’re lightly flavored rice crackers. Ever get “bar mix”? You know, the snack mix that has wasabi peas and sesame sticks, and the little rice cracker puffs? Well these taste exactly like those little rice puffs. SO GOOD!

I can’t wait to see what country comes next! Taste and Curiosity is filled to the brim with delicious snacks. I really loved almost everything (since I didn’t make the tea, I can’t say everything). But all the food stuffs I devoured! They really do a fantastic job of curating these boxes. I like the mix of sweet and savory snacks.
