The Winter Solstice Box is infused with invigorating essential oils that help promote self-love. Pine, for example, will amplify your sense of self-worth, while Geranium is going to evoke feelings of peace. Frankincense can help you move closer to spiritual awareness, as Ylang Ylang and Rose will amplify your commitment to loving relationships.

Each box includes an affirmation and a link to a seasonal playlist. I put the affirmation on my bedside table, and the playlist is perfect during my morning routine. I’ve already found two musical artists that I love.

The truth is, you can only truly embrace and support others after you’ve learned to love and nourish yourself.

Venus Mineral Bath ~ $14.00

I am a huge fan of mineral baths. I add salts to every bath I take, and now that winter’s here, I’ve been taking lots of baths! Epsom salt is probably my main source of magnesium which is a godsend for nerves, anxiety, muscle pain and headaches. Merkaela’s mineral bath mixes Dendritic Salt, Epsom Salt, Mediterranean Sea Salt and Black Hawaiian Sea Salt with a wonderful essential oil blend of Frankincense, Rose, Ylang-Ylang, and Pine.

Raven Tea Potion ~ $7.70

I drink tea all day, and I have a special fondness for anything chamomile. I am all about stress relievers! Trust me when I say that this is one of my favorite tea blends ever. Not only is it beautiful (those chamomile flowers!), but the taste is lovely and it truly acts as a calming agent. I only wish there was more.

The aromatherapy benefits of our caffeine-free Raven Tea Potion include increased relaxation and mental clarity. St. John’s Wort, Chamomile, and Anise are famed for stress-reducing properties that are similar to those of Valerian Root. That’s what makes the caffeine-free Raven Tea Potion so amazing. Venus Body Exfoliator ~ $9.50

This sugar scrub is wonderful! It has the perfect consistency, smells amazing and works to exfoliate and soften. I have been using it on my heals and elbows, and it is a little miracle worker. Plus, I’m loving the poetic component of using an exfoliator to mindfully release what’s no longer necessary or beneficial in my life.

Venus Body Butter ~ $21.00

I understand why this jar of body butter sells for $21.00. Thanks to shea and coconut butters, it is incredibly moisturizing. Like the other Venus-scented products, it is made with rose, frankincense, ylang-ylang and pine essential oils. Right out of the jar, this has a pretty strong smell, but within moments it fades to a subtle sweet scent that I am loving.

Evergreen Soap ~ $8.50

This handmade organic soap in Evergreen is perfect for the season!

Nurture Lip Balm ~ $4.00

This lip balm, made of soybean oil, sunflower oil, beeswax, cocoa butter, shea butter, vitamin E, aloe vera, glides on smoothly and has a very subtle cocoa scent.

Cedar Smudge Stick ~ $4.40

My husband I love the smell of burning cedar, so we were excited to see this in the box. Plus, it was fun to learn that cedar can be used like sage in purification rituals.

Honey Clay Face Mask ~ $7.00

My face loves clay masks, and I love masks that I don’t have to mix. This one goes on a little sticky but is easily removable, and my skin loved it!

Clear Quartz Pendulum ~ $8.50

Sometimes decisions are hard. At least for me. I love using pendulums to help answer yes/no questions and tune into my own intuition. This pendulum is beautiful and the perfect size to tuck into a pocket.

I feel like this whole review sounds like a love letter, and I guess it is. I am genuinely in love! Merkaela’s products are high quality, thoughtful and thought-provoking. This box would make an AMAZING gift for anyone who deserves a bit of pampering, and the value is definitely there.
