No-bunny was harmed in the making of this box!

This month, the Beauty Box’s theme is “A Bounty of Beauty: we’re so thankful for these incredible autumn beauty picks”.

100% Pure Black Tea Long Last Liquid Eye Liner! This was one of the spoilers for the box, and it is THE reason I bought it this month. Worth $28.00 ($10.00 more than the box itself), I had to buy it! About half of every box I buy turns into a gift, and this lovely is for my 16-year-old daughter who is gifted at applying cat-eye eyeliner. Plus, bright shiny object!

My first foray into neem oil, which I learned is an oil from the neem tree (duh!). I kind of love the smell of this Nubian Heritage Indian Hemp and Haitian Vetiver lotion! (The name is so global.) The vetiver has a subtle smell. Also, it is pretty thick and NOT greasy. ($3.00)

This Bohemian Beauty Facial Steam was the second spoiler for this month’s box. I was going to gift this one, too, but it is so pretty, I had to try it!

I added boiling water to the potpourri “beautiful blend of botanicals”. Then, I played Candy Crush meditated under a towel for 5 or so minutes while the steam made me sweat buckets cleared my pores. As recommended, I used a mask afterward. I have to say the whole thing was aesthetically and olfactorily pleasing, and my face feels pretty soft today. I used the entire bag, but I think this could have been good for two uses. ($7.50)

I put this Shea Radiance Hair Milk on my head, and my teenage daughter and my husband BOTH told me I smelled good. I don’t think my teenager has ever said that to me before. I think this would be great for someone with dry hair, but I’m not gonna lie, my fine hair looked a little greasy afterward. Next time, I’m just going to spritz it on my ends. ($5.00)

I kind of dig this Mineral fusion polish. It looks turquoise here, but it is much greener in real life. I never would have picked this color, but every time I look down, it makes me smile. It dries crazy fast, and stays on okay. I have had to do two touch-ups in 24 hours. I am pretty hard on my nails, though. ($4.00)

I absolutely love this photo of my daughter’s nails (she painted them herself!), her leg- warmers and my toes. This is what my world is all about.

$47.50 ain’t too bad for a $19.00 box, and I love me some vegan product! If you sign up for a six month subscription through Cyber Monday, you can save 18% and receive three free gifts HERE  (this is only open to the first 125 subscribers).

Sarah

I live in Utah with my carnivorous husband, three swell daughters, and two semi-trained dogs at the base of some of the most beautiful mountains in the world. Sometimes I write for money, but usually I just play Candy Crush.

I am a vegan, homeschooling mom who might be a tad obsessed with subscription boxes. My infatuation is evidenced by my uncanny ability to recognize the sound of my mail carrier’s truck engine. I’d like to say don’t judge me, but if I were you, I’d judge me. I love vegan/eco-friendly, literary and thoughtfully curated boxes.
