Fabletics – September 2015 Review

Fabletics is a personalized athletic clothing subscription service starting at $49.95 per outfit. Fabletics was co-founded by Kate Hudson.  On the first of every month, they release that month’s outfit collection.  You have until the fifth to choose an outfit or skip the month.  If you don’t choose, they will charge you $49.95.  You can cancel anytime by calling 1(844)FABLETICS in the US.  A VIP membership gives you 50% off in their shop, free shipping on orders over $49.95, and free exchanges in the contiguous 48 US states.  They also have a rewards program that gives you 2 points per dollar (their cheapest item in the store purchasable with points is 300 points).  You can also review the items in your box and earn 20 points per item (so I got 60 points by reviewing this outfit).

This month, I picked the Geneva outfit.

The outfit includes these 3 items: the Sweet Pea Cami, the Ithaca Jacket, and the Labaree Jogger.  The Cami offers the choice of Jasmine (light gray) or Bordeaux (deep purple), and the Jogger comes in Black, Coal, and Inkwell.  You can also choose the inseam length for the Jogger.

Here are the pieces of the outfit I received.

Ithaca Jacket (regular $79.95, VIP $54.95) – I really like the print on this jacket and the pocket on the sleeve.  I think it runs a full size small, and the elastic band is in an awkward position.  It’s made from lightweight, stretch woven fabric (94% polyester, 6% elastane body, 96% polyester, 4% elastane contrast).  It has huge pockets, which is really good.

The jacket has a flap that can be buttoned down to cover the zipper, which I like.

Sweet Pea Cami (regular $29.95, VIP $15.95) – I chose the Bordeaux (deep purple) color.  I really like this cami (I don’t usually have high expectations for tank tops, but this one is my favorite cami ever).  It’s super soft.  I love the shirred bust detail.  Combined with the V-neck design, it looks fitted and slimming.  However, I ordered a size up after reading the reviews.  I think the listed sizes are half a size small.

Labaree Jogger (regular $59.95, VIP $39.95) – I chose the Inkwell (dark blue) color and regular length inseam.  I wanted to choose the Tuberose Capris (with lace details on the legs) or the Salar Capris (with the Romantic Print matching the jacket), but they were either not in the same outfit with the jacket, or not available in my size, so I was not particularly excited for this jogger.  However, I have to say I really liked it when I tried it on.  Again, I ordered a size up after reading the review.  The hip area is pretty baggy (which I think is normal for a jogger) and the legs fitted really well.  It has a jersey foldover waistband, side pockets, and a single zip pocket.  (I love zip pockets.)  It’s very comfortable, and the elastic band at the ankle area is not too tight.

If you’re interested in Fabletics, you can get your first outfit for half off by clicking here. Note that you will be enrolled in a subscription program when you do sign up so cancel if you only want the one outfit.

    1. Hmm I read the other review that was half a year older than my post. May I ask what you’re disagreeing on?
