It’s MunchPak Mini Monday! I posted last week about how MunchPak finally reinstated a lower priced option of their popular MunchPak, and immediately ordered one for myself. Every bi-weekly Monday is MunchPak Monday! (Assuming the mini package arrives in time)
MunchPak Mini
9.99$ Per Shipment – You Choose the Frequency
Ships Worldwide via USPS
Use codes BEEJU or LUCKYBOX for discounts on your first box
MunchPak is a snack box that sends snacks from all over the world. They recently unveiled a new website design, and new options as well as the return of the Mini. You can customize your box to your choosing for a 1$ per option; for my Mini I chose primarily sweet things so I am charged 10.95 bi-weekly. The options include things like no foreign snacks, no sweets, no nuts, no savory, etc. you can also choose the frequency of deliveries and you’ll get your first box within 7 days of ordering. I got a shipment confirmation literally the next day after I signed up. They do ship worldwide though, so that within 7 days of ordering thing doesn’t apply to international orders.
Every MunchPak is different so whats in my Mini probably won’t be in yours. It doesn’t come with an info sheet, but it does come with a insert with a QR code. You can check the origin and actual name of a product in their snack database. The Mini arrives in a padded white envelope.
Argo Dream Milky – Poland
This kinda tastes like taffy, but it’s very melt-in-your-mouth, reminiscent of the stickiness of peanut butter kinda candy. It’s almost soothing. They’re hard candies with creamy milk flavored filling. These come in different flavors, like chocolate or coffee too.
Boy Bawang Corn Nuts – Philippines
One thing about MunchPak, if you want to exclusively remove any sort of savory item from your Pak, you have to pay a dollar to discard it. I don’t necessarily mind getting savory items as it does give me the opportunity to try new things; that being said, I’m not a member of the “Chili Cheese Fandom” so I passed these off on my boss whose normally refuses foreign foods (the mans blood runs pinto beans), and he inhaled them. Seriously, I’ve never seen someone eat corn nuts so fast.
Cajillions Blue Raspberry – China
These are chewy like…. gum? With the taste of nerds candy. They’re called cajillions because you get 4982billion little pieces. Seriously I’ve dropped at least 1/3rd of this bag so far.
Mars Bar – United Kingdom
Our version is a Milky Way, which by default means I wasn’t allowed to keep it because my Mother would turn into a ravenous beast if she knew I had the original version of her favorite candy bar in my vicinity.
Bibi Bear Rice Cake – Taiwan
These little rice crackers taste exactly like you’d expect them to; cardboard. These however, have the added bonus of being covered in a layer of sugar. Sugary cardboard. Mmmm. Fiber. (no but really, they were better than our traditional rice cakes)
Nutresa Cremino Crema de Avellana – Mexico
I think it’s a small biscuit type cake made with nutella and cream. Anyone more familiar with this one care to help?
So that’s my MunchPak mini for these two weeks! I actually really like my mini; there’s only two items I didn’t eat, the corn nuts and the cremino (I can’t tell what’s in the cremino), and the Mars bar went off to a happy person, so it was a win. I paid 7.95 after coupon and felt I did get my monies worth. I’m a big fan of snack boxes in general, and I love that MunchPak reintroduced the Mini and at different frequencies.
MunchPak is part of a series on our Japanese Snack Box list – they’re clearly not a Japanese box but they do send out a number of Asian snacks. You can see that list here. MunchPak has 3 different boxes, the Mini, the Original (reviewed here), and the Family Pak. Each contains different amounts of snacks at different prices.
Did you get a MunchPak Mini? Whatcha get? :D

I like MunchPak a lot. Too bad the Bibi Bear Rice Cake didn’t taste great, cuz the packaging is adorable!
I don’t think I’ve ever liked rice cakes, so it’s probably just a personal preferences. They were super adorable though!
