This is a review of July 2018’s box.
It comes in this little cardboard box with cute prints.
They included this information card describing the items in the box.
On the back of the information card they describe their blog which talks about the making of each of the products.
Nourish Nails Water-Based Nail Polish in “Choose Joy” ($12.50) – As usual, one Nourish Nail color is included in this box. This month’s color is this pearl royal blue color which I adore.
If this is your first time seeing their nail polish. This is a water-based nail polish. It is formulated without organic solvents and harmful ingredients. Being in a biochem major for so many years, I know what those organic solvents in most nail polishes can do other than just smelling bad. Another advantage of having a water-based polish is when you need a change, just dip it in water and peel off.
“Choose Joy” on my nail.
Seraphine Botanicals Blue Chamomile + Nectar Nourishing Facial Oil ($54) – Oh Yas Seraphine Botanicals always has the prettiest packaging! This facial oil is formulated with Blue Chamomile and Rose Geranium for skin moisturizing and nourishing. The oil has a natural blue color and it smells sweet and fruity. My combo skin does not usually like oils, but I don’t feel greasy at all after this facial oil got absorbed into my skin.
Facial oil on my hand.
Peony Cosmetics Wonder Bloom Eyeshadow in “Blue Hyacinth” ($15) – I love eyeshadow duos! And I like this one in particular because the two colors are actually not in the same color group as many of the other shadow duos are. It is 100% vegan. I didn’t swatch this one since I will be gifting it to a friend, but please check out @nourishbeautybox’s post for swatches. I love how pigmented yet creamy the colors are.
Crush Cosmetics Sugar Body Buff in “Vanilla Bean” ($15) – I love sugar scrubs, especially vanilla bean ones! This body scrub is formulated with Shea and Mango butter for removing dead skin cells while moisturizing the skin. My jar leaked everywhere in the box when it arrived, but Nourish Beauty Box has assured me that their subscribers are getting replacements due to that. I’ve actually already finished my jar. It smells sweet and my skin feels very soft and not drying at all after using it.
The scrub is supposed to arrive as a solid, but mine had liquid on top while the solid was at the bottom. I’m pretty sure it’s due to the Cali heat.
Overall, this is one of my favorite boxes from them. My favorites are the facial oil and Nourish Nail!
