Gramma in a Box- July 2018 Review

is a subscription box service which includes baked cookies (with sprinkles and frosting to decorate) and two additional food crafts. Each box includes step-by-step instructions and illustrations on how to complete your projects. Gramma in a Box is only $20 a month and shipping is free everywhere in the U.S. Use promo code: 10OFF to receive $10 off your first purchase. There are also discounted rates available for the 3, 6, and 12 month prepaid memberships or auto-debit options.

For this month’s review, I am testing out the July 2018 box. The theme is 4th of July so all the projects were red, white, and blue!

Upon opening the box, there are several print outs describing the projects, ingredients, and instructions. There’s an overall summary of the box and a special business card from Gramma herself!

I think I mentioned this in the last review but I ADORE Gramma’s logo. She puts so much thought into these boxes to ensure they are perfect for families to enjoy together. I always appreciate the expiry notice so that I’m able to plan around when the crafts will need to be finished.

For the 4th of July theme, the first project was Sparkler Dipped Cookies. The below image includes ingredients and step by step instructions. Items in red font are Gramma’s helpful hints.

And the finished product is pictured below. They were vanilla wafer cookies, dipped in white chocolate and covered in sprinkles. It was YUMMY!

The second project was Golden Bites. They are pretzels topped with white chocolate, peanuts, and sprinkles.

And the finished product had little individual cups to sit in.

Last but not least was project 3, our cookie decorating task! This one is always my favorite.

Co-blogger, D Lys, helped me with the decorating fun. We love getting our hands dirty and making some adorable cookies! My favorite was our little American flag tribute:

Below is a snap chat of all our decorations! Can you spy D Lys’ ‘I tried’ cookie? Writing on these is harder than it looks!

This box is a win in my book. What a great concept created by Gramma for all grandparents, grandchildren, and families to share. Each project is simple and easy to follow. The projects I did alone only took about 20 minutes to complete. Who doesn’t have 20 minutes available to craft some goodies and eat cookies?

I also find the price of $20/month to be incredibly reasonable. Gramma prepares everything you need at home to the specific numbers and sizes for ingredients. All you need to do is put it together. Gramma is also available, via e-mail, if you have any questions along the way. She is so sweet and goes above and beyond for customer service.

Overall, I would highly recommend this box.

This box was a PR sample. No compensation was received for this review. All opinions are my own.
