In my opinion, Merkaela is one of the most beautiful subscription boxes on the market. Once a season, they send personal care and wellness products for the mind body and spirit.
Our Natural, Organic, and Chemical-free products get you centered and on your way to every-day wellness. Each quarterly curated collection is built on a theme and includes wellness products, thought-provoking content and music — everything you need to be on your way to a holistic approach to a clear mind, body and spirit.
- Every natural product we send is made by us, on site, & revolves around the theme of the season.
- New discoveries every season

- Vegan Products
- Recyclable and environmentally friendly packaging
Everything they send, including the packaging, is thoughtful, lovely and meaningful.
The theme for summer is Alive.
Have you noticed that when you truly feel alive there is this feeling of synchronicity that exist, as if this is what life is meant to be. Your heart harmonizes with the creative force of life and it beats to the rhythm of the universe. Then magic happens… you become present you enjoy the moment.
I love how every box includes a meditation and a playlist.
The “ALIVE” box will help you tap into your present awareness and align your mind, body and spirit.
Each box includes an affirmation card that goes with the quarterly theme. I put this one on my mirror for a daily reminder to remain present.
Hibiscus Tea Potion ~ $7.70
Merkaela’s teas are so yummy! This one is full of rosehips and vitamin C, and it tastes like summer.
It helps raise conscious awareness to higher levels in order to bring you closer to what it is needed in your life or let go of what no longer serves you.
The quotes on their teas are lovely. I actually made my last one into a refrigerator magnet.
When brewed, the tea is such a pretty red color!
Peppermint Soap Bar ~ $8.50
I love peppermint soaps, because they really bring you into the present moment. In striving to be more and more mindful, I appreciate gentle reminders like this.
Because this soap is full of palm, coconut, olive and palm kernel oils, it is also ultra moisturizing.
Lemurian Gemstone ~ $8.00ish
I love how this beautiful crystal was packaged with flower petals. So pretty! This pendant is gorgeous! I immediately put it on a silver chain. I have been wearing it every day, and I have gotten so many compliments on it. It is yet another reminder to choose presence and peace.
Merkaela recommends using it during meditation.
Lemurian are “earth spirit” crystals with a high efficacy in efforts to establish communication with Spirit Guides and Angels. To use one, meditate quietly holding it in your right hand. Slowly move your thumbnail up the etchings one by one expecting the presence of your Spirit Guide when you reach the top rung.
Tangerine & Sage Shea Body Butter ~ $21.00
This body butter is amazing! All natural and soothing, it also utilizes aromatherapy to inspire an “uplifted state of mind while helping ease stress and restore tranquility.”
It is made of all kinds of organic ingredients, including shea butter, hemp oil, and calendula extract. But my favorite addition is organic St. John’s Wort extract, which I’ve never seen as an ingredient in a lotion before; so perfect as a mood lifter!
Sacred Sage Smudge Stick ~ $4.40ish
Sage is wonderful for clearing energy. My husband and I just brought one large stick home from a Dead & Co concert, and we already needed more. He loves it so much, he keeps some in his car. I think it takes him back to his years of going on tour.
Jasmine & Palo Santo Meditation Elixir ~ $
I love the idea of meditation sprays. This one was formulated to help clear unnecessary thought patterns (yes, please) and to “help you find courage to face any challenge.” When it is first sprayed, it smells very strong, but then it mellows into a more floral, calming scent. I’ve been doing Oprah and Chopra’s 21 Day Free Meditation Experience, so this couldn’t have arrived at a more perfect time!
This is also wonderful to use when you need grounding but don’t have time for a long meditation.
Calendula Lemon Salt Bath ~ $14.00
Merkaela knows how to do bath salts! This one has such a wonderful scent. I think most of my magnesium comes from bath salts, so I used a bit of this (for scent and relaxation) paired with some plain Epsom salts for extra magnesium. Lovely!
Packed with antioxidants to help keep your skin looking young, smooth and clear. Great for supplying the body with much needed magnesium and other nutrients, alleviating pain and soothing aching muscles. Additionally, it clears the aura, and supports the lymphatic and immune system by removing toxins and enhancing your physical and emotional energy, allowing you to feel light, refreshed and present.Benefits: Helps you feel vibrant and clear minded.
Merkaela is one of those rare subscriptions that is able to produce a box that supports the body, mind and spirit. The curation is outstanding, and the Merkaela products are lovely, thoughtful and useful. Every time I use any of my Merkaela Box items, I am reminded to breathe, appreciate the moment and smile. I also love how the box arrives seasonally, so I have just enough time to really use and enjoy each item. I cannot recommend this box enough.
The Summer box is still available, and you can save 15% on a monthly subscription with code ALIVE15 or 20% on a Yearly Subscription with code ALIVE20 .
PR Sample. No affiliate links. No compensation was received and all opinions are my own.

I am a vegan, homeschooling mom who might be a tad obsessed with subscription boxes. My infatuation is evidenced by my uncanny ability to recognize the sound of my mail carrier’s truck engine. I’d like to say don’t judge me, but if I were you, I’d judge me. I love vegan/eco-friendly, literary and thoughtfully curated boxes.
