Everything in the Try the World Amour Box.

Here are the ingredients, all from France, Italy, or Thailand.

Croquet Crackers (Biscuiterie de Provence, France) – It seems like it has a couple variations in flavors for this one, and I’m so happy that I got the basil pesto one. They are super delicious already even before adding any sauces.

Caserecce (Gragnano in Corsa, Italy) – I love pasta! This one is clearly very well-made. It’s soft after cooked, but also keeps its elasticity to it. It did not swell too much after cooking. The only problem is 250g was not quite enough for both my BF and me for one meal lol.

Edible Flower Petals (Raffaelli Food, Italy) – It’s a bit strange for me to have rose petals in my pasta, but I had to admit it tasted pretty good.

Dried Tamarind (Wang Derm, Thailand) – I didn’t know dried tamarind was actually a popular snack in Thailand. The look and flavor remind me of the tamarind snack I had when I was little.

Black Truffle Sauce (Stefania Calugi, Italy) – This is the sauce to pair with the pasta. I could taste mushroom and garlic flavor in it.

Apple Jelly with Espelette Pepper (Les Petits Fruits, France) – Apple jelly with pepper? The combination is not too common, but I’m happy to report that it tastes really good. It’s mostly a sweet apple jam with a little hint of pepper.

Black Olive Tapenade (Delices du Luberon, France) – This one is also supposed to go on the Croquet Crackers, but I don’t like olives/olive flavor, so, I didn’t try it.

Sticky Rice and Coconut Milk (Siammit, Thailand) – These are the ingredients for the desert. I love how the coconut milk tastes (very sweet) lol, however, the sticky rice appeared to be a bit hard even after heating up (See below work in progress pic).

On the back of the information card are cooking instructions to make an appetizer, entree, and dessert with these ingredients.

The Croquet Crackers outside the box.

Some works in progress for the desert. Here are coconut milk and the sticky rice.

What can you make with crackers, tapenade, and apple jelly?  How about these Croquet Crackers with Black Olive Tapenade and Apple Jelly?

The pasta, truffle sauce, and petals go into this Casarecce with Black Truffle Cream and Edible Rose Petals.

Finally, the sticky rice and tamarind can be used to make this Mango Sticky Rice with Dried Tamarind.

Overall, I think this is a fun gourmet food box. I love the introductions of origin and background culture of each item, and how easily the dishes are made.
