is a monthly subscription service that sends out 10-12 hand-picked super kawaii items from Japan & Korea each month. It costs $18.9/month (cheaper when you subscribe for 6 or 12 months.). Items include things such as stationery, plushes, stickers, candies, accessories and more. Boxes ship out at the end of the month, and usually arrive around the 10th for US addresses. They ship free worldwide. Every month a lucky subscriber will receive a Kawaii Megabox filled with kawaii items from Blippo Kawaii Shop valued over US$100!
This is a review of the October Kawaii Box.
Each box comes with an information card detailing each item. They also put some ad cards to promote their owner company Blippo Kawaii Shop and Japan Candy Box that belongs to the same company.
Everything in this month’s box.
Pikachu Coin Purse – This is definitely a timely item since Pokémon Go has been so popular lately. I think it’s really cute and I love that it’s not just a plush but a pouch, mainly because I have Pikachu plushes already. I almost wish it was an Eevee for the above reason (not just because it’s my spiritual animal according to a random personality test).
Disney Potepote Bean Plush – OMG this is the cutest thing ever! I love Minnie and I really like the chubby bottom with beans inside which makes it really easy for her to stand.

Marukawa Halloween Gum – It came with two sticks, one pink and the other purple. However, I did not taste anything different between them. They just taste like sour bubblegum.
Karipori Candy Sticks – First, I really love the Pokémon themed packaging. There are blue and yellow candy sticks with corresponding packaging. The blue one tastes like bubblegum. The yellow one is a little bit sweeter than the blue one but I can’t really tell what the flavor is. These are crunchy candy sticks.
Here are what the individual packages look like.
Each small package contains 2 sticks. The candy sticks have a pearl-like appearance.
Moomin Greeting Card – Yaaay Moomin! He’s definitely not the cutest character in the world, but for some reason I just love him so much. How cute is this card?
Japanese Sakura Envelopes – Although I have a whole bunch of envelopes, who doesn’t need a bunch of pink envelopes with sakura flowers on them when it’s so close to the holiday season?
The card comes with an envelope.
There are five of the sakura envelopes.
Cute Mechanical Pencil – I love things that look like something different. This one looks like an ordinary wood pencil but it’s actually a mechanical pencil.
Square Animal Spray Bottle – Awwwwweeeeeee!!! What a cute spray bottle! I can always use something like this that’s cute and also functional.

Squishy Oreo Keychain – Yay mint flavored Oreo squishy keychain! Although I’ve been a squishy collector for a couple years, this is my first squishy like this. The mint flavor Oreo is actually my favorite. It isn’t the slow-rising type of squishy, but it’s pretty soft and it actually smells like a cookie.
Happy Food Eraser – Super cute chocolate eraser!

Food Themed Stickers – Did someone say food themed puff stickers? Okay, yes, that’s actually my favorite type of stickers. Look at the little Coca-Cola bottle!
DIY Cross Stitch Keychain Kit – I think this is the second time they’ve sent out a cross-stitch keychain kit. I used to really like to do cross-stitch when I had a lot of free time. I think the patterns are really cute for this set. It’s definitely a good pastime.
Everything in the kit.
Overall, I think this is a really good Kawaii Box. I love the different categories of items and I think most of them are adorable and useful at the same time.
