This is a review of September’s box. Such gorgeous packaging!!

Everything in this month’s box.  The theme is Natural Beauty.

The box includes an information card describing all of the items in the box.

Each information card includes a quote.  This one is from Homer.

Eco-Armour “Outdoor” Botanical Insect Repellent & Moisturizer ($19) – It has a nice citrus scent, and it definitely makes my skin feel moisturized.  I haven’t had a chance to try it out at bug-repelling yet, but I definitely like the insect repelling moisturizer idea.

DEET-free botanical insect repellent that is safe and effective against mosquitoes and biting flies.  Our “outdoor” bug spray and insect repellent has a pleasing aroma and it safely moisturizes your skin.  And of course, none of our products are tested on animals.  “Outdoor” is safe & effective for adults & children, it’s biodegradable, moisturizing & deodorizing plus it can temporarily help reduce pain & swelling from sunburn.

Organic to Green Liquid Coconut Oil ($10) – As one would expect, it feels very oily when I put it on, but it’s pretty thin and doesn’t take long to absorb.  It has a floral scent.  Since it performs multiple functions, it might be good for traveling. And I love that it’s organic and natural.

Made with 100% pure and gentle coconut oil that never turns solid and is safe for sensitive skin.  Our liquid coconut products are non-greasy and non-staining that absorb quickly and won’t clog pores.  Blended with organic and natural botanical oils, we have created a new way to care for your body with our liquid coconut oils.

Live Beautifully Travel Size Natural Deodorant ($4) – It’s a very soft stick deodorant.  It says blueberry violets on it, but I mostly smell the blueberry.  (Unfortunately, I’m not a fan of berry scents. I love fresh ones though.)  It feels good when I put it on, and it definitely does its job as a deodorant.

Live Beautifully deodorants are not antiperspirants.  They are an all natural alternative that actually works.  It will help you sweat less, sweat cleaner, and smell better.  Our amazing blend soothes and conditions your underarm skin, helping to reduce itchiness and dryness, and any red bumps from shaving.  You may notice additional sweating the first few days of use.  Think of this as your body detoxifying and ridding itself of all the harmful chemicals and additives it was receiving.

Live Beautifully Lip Glitz ($8) – You can never have too many lippies.  This is a sparkling dark red lip gloss.  It has a slight mint scent, and it’s very moisturizing. I’m actually surprised about how pigmented it is since the first lip glitz I got from them had no color what so ever. And as most lip glosses, it has very little lasting power. I like Live Beautifully being cruelty and parabens-free, but as a biochemist, I find it hard to believe for the Dyes and Synthetic Fragrances/Flavors-free part.

Lip Glitz are specially crafted with lip safe, naturally occurring micas and sparkling minerals that warp and refract light particles around your lips.  Lips lok plumper, fuller, more luscious.  Incredibly moisturizing, this great for your lips formula soaks in, helping to minimize and heal lines and damage from the inside out.  A touch of sweet peppermint essential oil helps keep your smile fresh and always ready for a close up.  No Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates, Synthetic Preservatives, Dyes, Synthetic Fragrances/Flavors, Animal Testing.

Let’s Put A Bird On It Unicorn Dust ($9) – I’ve been wanting to try Unicorn Dust for a while! It is a very sparkly, light gold colored highlighter.  I love how smooth and creamy the formula is.

Cream highlighter for a touch of gold & white shimmery gleam wherever you’d like it.  Try it on the corners of your eyes or on your collarbone.

Swatches of the Unicorn Dust (top) and Lip Glitz (bottom).

Overall, I like most of the items in this month’s box, but it’s missing the lifestyle/jewelry/beauty tools item that was in the previous boxes, which actually was what attracted me to get this box. I really hope to see at least one non-beauty product in the box next time!
