This is a review of June’s box.  The above picture shows everything in this month’s box.

Esfolio Honey Essence Mask Sheet and Egg Essence Mask Sheet (~$1.25 x 2) – I had been seeing a lot of these masks in TJ Maxx and Marshalls a while back. I was so glad that Piibu Box started including them because I was curious about them but didn’t want to commit to buying a whole box of 10. The honey mask contains betaine, sodium hyaluronate, honey extract, portulaca oleracea extract, and other botanical extracts for moisturizing, hydrating, and protecting. It definitely had a honey-like scent. The mask material was very soft and it was soaked with clear essence. I had the mask on for 25 minutes and my face felt hydrated, nourished, and smooth without any tacky feeling. I definitely will be on the lookout for a box of these.
The egg mask contains sodium hyaluronate, portulaca oleracea extract, chaenomeles sinensis extract, and egg yolk extract for hydrating and brightening. I was kind of surprised that the essence had a floral scent. The mask material was again very soft. I had it on for 25 minutes and my face felt hydrated and plumped. I didn’t sense much of a brightening effect, but I still think it’s a decent everyday mask.

G9 Skin Slice Mask Sheets – Strawberry and Peach (~$2 x 2) – I’ve been on a roll with good slice masks lately. I first learned that G9 made slice masks when Piibu included them in May’s and June’s boxes. There are a total of 4 types; the others are Lemon and Cucumber.
I love that these slice masks are in big pieces and you can definitely cover half of your face with the 6 pieces included in the pack. The mask material was very soft and flattering. I love the almost 3D-looking prints.
The peach mask contains 1000 ppm peach extract and collagen for moisturizing and firming. I love peach everything and the essence definitely had a sweet and pleasant peach scent. I could definitely feel the nourishing and moisturizing effect after using it.
The strawberry mask contains 1000 ppm strawberry extract and “berry-complex” for revitalizing and hydrating. If you have been following my blog for a while you probably know that I don’t like artificial strawberry scents. Unfortunately, the essence had a pretty strong artificial berry scent. I really enjoyed the results from these slice masks, though. They made my skin feel soft, moisturized, and slightly brightened.
These retail for about $2 per pack of 6 slices. I would definitely like to try the lemon one.

Chico y Chica Urban Princess Mask – Lifting (Sleeping Beauty) (~$4) – This is not a new mask to me; I’ve tried it before. There are three variants of this mask: Whitening, Aqua, and Lifting. The lifting mask contains rose oil for skin firming; cypress water for soothing and hydrating; Adenosine for wrinkle care. The mask sheet material is soft and flattering. The sheet was soaked with rose scented yellow-brown colored essence. The fit was a bit large on the sides, but the attachment was not bad. I didn’t have too much essence leftover in the package. Most of the 27mL essence was in the mask sheet! After using it for 30mins, my skin felt moisturized and plumped. There was no tacky feeling either. I love the pretty princess packaging. I wish the mask sheet was printed as well. I would recommend this mask for all skin types and winter uses.

Garnier SkinActive Moisture Bomb Sheet Mask (~$3) – It contains witch hazel water, pomegranate extract, and sodium hyaluronate for hydrating. The mask essence had a floral and fermented kind of scent. The mask material was soft. It had a clear gel-like essence. I felt some cooling sensation while the mask was on. My face felt nice and smooth after 20 minutes. It was such a pleasant surprise for a Western mask.

Dewytree Su Bonan Mask (~$3) – It contains vetch root, hwanggi extract, and several other herbal extracts for soothing, nourishing, moisturizing, softening, and brightening. The mask essence had a yellowish color and the texture was gel-like. The mask was unscented. I had it on for 20 minutes. My face felt moisturized after using the mask. I didn’t see too much of any other effects. It’s a bit of a disappointment for a Dewytree mask.

Jayjun Anti-Dust Whitening Mask (~$2) – It contains betaine, saururus chinensis extract, ginger root oil, pearl powder and extract, and many other botanical extracts for soothing, brightening, smoothing, and nourishing. The ampoule had a gel-like texture. It also had a light floral scent. My face felt slightly hydrated after applying the ampoule. The mask was a microfiber mask. It had really nice fit and attachment. It had a very subtle floral scent and creamy essence. I had it on for 30 minutes and my face felt very nourished and brightened. It did leave a tacky finish. I wasn’t entirely sure whether the “eyes under corrector” was an eye cream or concealer even after opening the packet. It had a light pink color and relatively thick texture, so it looked to me like more of a concealer, and there was enough of it that you could cover your whole face if you wanted. I did feel like my under eye area was smoother and it could cover up most of my fine lines, so I think I would use it as more of a concealer rather than an eye cream.
