This is a review of September 2018’s box.

Peony Cosmetics Natural Deodorant ($25) – This little liquid deodorant is made with Aloe Vera juice, Lavender and Orange peel oils that claim to mask body odors and keep sweating and bacteria formation at bay. A little goes a long way, you really only need a couple sprays of this deodorant to smell just like it. Unfortunately, the strongest note I noticed was lavender. I’m not a big fan of lavender scents. I really like that it’s only 10mL, which is very easy to carry around.

The liquid inside the deodorant spray has two layers. I believe one is oil, the other is the aqueous layer. I would recommend mixing it well before use.

Pickle’s Potion Lash and Brow Serum ($10.99) – Pickle’s Potion is a new vegan and cruelty-free brand that Nourish Box just started featuring. This serum contains many essential oils such as Castor Oil, Organic Horsetail Infused Camellia Seed Oil, Organic Burdock Infused Grapeseed Oil etc. It claims to stimulate hair growth, increase volume and provide vital nutrients to the lash follicles so they appear healthy and bouncy. It is recommended to be applied nightly without washing it off. I have been using it regularly on my brows for a couple weeks. They did feel very much nourished. I like the formula being gentle and the creamy scent. I haven’t noticed much hair growth effects, but I will update on that after I use it for longer.

I like that the applicator does not pick up too much product each time.

Seraphine Botanicals Cherry Butter ($24) – This lip and cheek color is formulated with 91% natural ingredients and pure shea butter.  I love stick lip and cheek color because they’re so travel-friendly. I love the “natural guava color”. It applies smoothly and stays put for a whole day. I like the balance between the level of pigmentation and subtleness of the color.

Z Skin Cosmetics Coffee Face Scrub ($17) – I love coffee scrubs! The full ingredients list is Coconut, Grapeseed, Avocado, Taminu, Teatree, Eucalyptus, Orange, Lemon, Coffee. Doesn’t it sound good already? It has a minty/eucalyptus type of scent. The coconut oil, avocado oil, and grapeseed oil are for skin moisturizing and nourishing. It is also infused with eucalyptus and citrus oils for skin refreshing and anti-trouble effects. My skin feels smooth, soft and refreshed after using it. I really like the gentle yet effective exfoliation.

Nourish Nails in Abundance ($12.5) – Ok, I know I never quit expressing my love for these water-based nail colors. THIS IS MY FAVORITE COLOR SO FAR! I’m such a purple color junkie, and this pearl plum color is just perfect.

Oh hello, pretty purple nail color!

Overall, This is one of my favorite Nourish Beauty Boxes. I love the mixture of makeup and skincare products. My favorites are definitely the coffee scrub, the nail color and the cheek color.

Favorite things: All kawaii stuff, Asian beauty, dresses, nail polish, jewelry, lifestyle items, glitter, heart-shaped things
Least favorite things: Boxes that lie about being completely customizable, completely made up ingredients in skincare products.
