This is a review of August 2018’s box.

They included this information card describing the items in the box.

On the back of the information card they describe their blog which talks about the making of each of the products.

Nourish Nails Water-Based Nail Polish in “Patience” ($12.50) – Each month’s Nourish Beauty Box includes one of their signature water-based nail polish. These polishes don’t have any chemical smells and they’re easy to peel off when soaked in water. This month’s color is “Patience”, which is a neon orange color.

Patience on my nail.

Seraphine Botanicals Happy Hibiscus 99% Natural Blush Palette ($48) – Yet another beautifully packaged product from Seraphine Botanicals. Hibiscus Flower Extract and Kaolin Clay were used to formulate the blushes to help reduce oiliness and redness.

I love these natural looking blush colors.

The application was soft and smooth. Colors from top to bottom corresponding to the top left, top right, bottom left and bottom right colors in the pallette.

Peony Cosmetics Clean Earth Water-Activated Dry Clay Cleanser ($25) – I’m not very big on physical exfoliation, but I like powder washes or scrubs during travels since they’re light and easy to carry around. This dry clay cleanser doesn’t have much of a scent. It does a pretty good job of exfoliating without drying out my skin, but I’d say the exfoliation is pretty harsh. My skin is not very sensitive, but I don’t think this is suitable for sensitive skin types.

Bear’s Beauty Feminine Deodorant Spray in “Sweet Petals” ($24.30) – This is a very interesting item to me. It is a deodorant designed to be used near the feminine part of your body. It is made with food-grade and Organic ingredients plus Essential Oils such as Witch Hazel, Glycerin, Essential Oil Blend, Hemp Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil. It claims to nourish, reduce unpleasant smells, and it has antibacterial effects. It smells like ginger plus some floral scent.

The deodorant on my hand.

Overall, I really like the curation of this month’s box. My favorite item is definitely the blush palette.

Favorite things: All kawaii stuff, Asian beauty, dresses, nail polish, jewelry, lifestyle items, glitter, heart-shaped things
Least favorite things: Boxes that lie about being completely customizable, completely made up ingredients in skincare products.
