This is a review of December’s box.  The above picture shows everything in this month’s box.

Since August, they have been putting everything in an Ipsy-like gold foil mailer rather than the signature box that they used to send.

A’Pieu Hidden Solution Egg White Nose Patch (~$1) – I’m big on nose patches mainly due to laziness, so, I’m a little picky. I could smell some kind of sour scent when I opened the package, which threw me off a little. The nose strip itself is very soft compared to some other brands ones, which I like. I could see it successfully removed most of my blackheads after 10mins of use. The packaging is also super cute. I’m not sure if I’d repurchase just because of the scent, but it’s certainly a very effective product.

A’Pieu Icing Sweet Bar Sheet Mask -Pineapple (~$1) – I have been eyeing this popsicle looking mask from A’pieu for a LONG time! This mask contains pineapple and mango fruit extracts for smoothing and hydrating. The mask material is thin and soft. The fit and attachment were great. I love the refreshing fruit scent.  I had the mask on for 40mins. My skin felt hydrated without any feeling of stickiness. On to my shopping list, it goes.

Nature Republic Real Nature Sheet Mask Aloe (~$1.50) – NR’s real nature line is not new to me, but it’s been a while since I last used the aloe one. The mask contains grapefruit fruit extract and aloe barbadensis leaf extract for skin soothing and moisturizing. The mask fit was large. The clear essence has a light aloe scent. I enjoyed the cooling effect during my 30mins masking session. My skin was moisturized after use. It’s pretty good for a basic mask.

The Saem Pure Natural Mask Sheet Ginseng (~$1) – I love everything Ginseng! I haven’t used too many masks from The Saem, so, I was certainly excited to try this one. It contains panax ginseng root extract, licorice, ginger and several other root extracts for nourishing. I love the Ginseng scent! The mask was soaked in a clear essence. The mask material is very soft. My face felt plumped and hydrated after use. I was actually surprised by the results for such a basic mask.

Holika Holika After Leports Mask Sheet (~$2) – I finally got to try this “weird heart eyes guy” mask that I’ve been seeing all over Instagram. This mask claims to have 4000ppm ” soothing essential complex”, which I believe is referring to the aloe barbadensis leaf extract, potato pulp extract, and honey extract, for soothing and reducing sunburn as well as redness. The mask material is soft and on the thinner side. I was surprised by the strong fragrance, but the attachment and fit were great. My skin did feel somewhat soothed afterwards. I certainly love the cute packaging, but the mask itself was just a basic soothing mask.

Tonymoly I’m Real Broccoli Mask Sheet Vitality (~$1) – TonyMoly’s I’m Real masks are not new to me either. This was my first time trying the Vitality (broccoli) version though. These masks are known to have a horrible fit. This one was not an exception. The mask material is hard. The mask was wet, but not soaked with essence as most sheetmasks are. I had no essence leftover after I took the sheet out. It has a veggie scent. The mask contains broccoli, cabbage and olive extract for moisturizing and skin vitality. I used the mask for 20mins. Despite the fact that I’m not a big fan of the mask material, I actually liked how smooth and hydrated my skin felt.

Leaders Insolution Anti-Aging Treatment Mask (~$1) – I have tried this mask for a few times before getting it in the Piibu box. This mask contains sodium hyaluronate, sugar maple extract, and several flower extracts to help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and improve skin elasticity. The mask material is soft and it was soaked with essence. I had some essence leftover as well. The scent is the Leaders’ signature floral scent. The fit and attachment were great. After a 40mins masking session, my face felt moisturized and tightened.

Sur.Medic Pore-Less Carbonic-Peel (~$3.50) – Yaay another Sur.Medic mask! Enlarged pores has always been one of my major skin concerns, so, I was super happy to try this one out. One special feature of this mask is that it contains carbonated water, which decongests clogged pores and lifts impurities. It also contains niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and several leaf extracts for moisturizing and soothing. The mask has a floral scent. The attachment power was great. After 30mins, my skin felt matte and smooth.

Overall, I love the brand selections of this month’s Piibu box. I liked and would repurchase most of the masks. I’m so happy to see they started including more and more unique masks.
