Sox Box – August 2017 Review

Odd Sox is a sock company that sells socks with a variety of designs and also offers a monthly Sox Box subscription.  You can get 1 pair of socks for $10/month, 2 pairs for $20/month, 4 pairs for $30/month, or 10 pairs for $75/month.  When you subscribe, you fill out a questionnaire to determine what kind of socks you will get.  Shipping is free, there is no contract, and you can cancel at any time.

This is a review of August’s Sox Box.

Some of the socks that you can get in Sox Box.

Inside the box is…

…another box.  And inside that…

Everything in this month’s Sox Box.

They included a coupon code: THANKYOU30 for 30% off an order in their store.  There were also a couple of stickers included.

I didn’t tell them my preferences, so this is a random selection of socks for me.  These are both crew socks.  The one on the left is Jimi Hendrix, who sang the famous Purple Haze.  Songs before 1980 are generally out of my lane, but Purple Haze is definitely one of the great songs in history and I’ve lost count of how many of my favorite artists have covered it.  I think it’s pretty badass to wear Jimi on your socks.  I also love the color contrast of these socks.

On the right are some “splash cooler of Ultra Dragon Fruit” crew socks.  I’ve never tried the actual drink, and my knowledge of it is limited to what I saw on Family Guy, but I do like how ODD and cool these socks look and I love the very summer-y colors too.

The material of the socks is on the thicker side, but soft and durable.

Favorite things: All kawaii stuff, Asian beauty, dresses, nail polish, jewelry, lifestyle items, glitter, heart-shaped things
Least favorite things: Boxes that lie about being completely customizable, completely made up ingredients in skincare products.
