Taste and Curiosity  is an international snack box with a mission. Straight from the owner’s mouth: “Our mission is to encourage others to step outside of their comfort zones so they can make their dreams into reality.”

Taste and Curiosity is currently available as either a single box purchase (price varies by box), a month to month subscription ($18.00 per box), a three month subscription ($51.00), or a six month subscription ($96.00). Use code Beeju15 for 15% off your first purchase!

This review is for the Berlin box. It was FULL of delicious chocolatey snacks!

Each box comes with an info sheet telling you exactly what’s in the box. I really appreciate having that included. Sometimes you might want to get more, and it’s easier to find if you actually know what it is your searching for.

Each box also contains an inspirational magnet. My fridge has a wooden front, but I keep all the magnets from my sub boxes on my washing machine.

And now onto the tasty part!

Manner Hazelnut Wafers:

I really enjoy wafer cookies. I haven’t ever met one I didn’t like, but these are SO GOOD! They have a chocolate hazelnut filling in between the wafer layers.

I stuffed the whole pack in my face in one sitting. #noregrets

Ritter Sport Minis:

Ritter makes some ridiculously delicious chocolates. These are no exceptions. I’ve had the chocolate covered cookie before, but not the other flavors. None disappointed! The cookie was my favorite:

The hazelnut and the corn flakes were both tasty too. Ritter really does have some amazingly creamy chocolate come out of their kitchens.

Hanuta:

I really had no idea there could be so many different kinds of wafer cookies! This was a different take on the chocolate, hazelnut wafer cookie. Also delicious!

I think I liked the other type a little more, but this one was delicious in its own right.

Chocolate Lady Bugs:

These are the cutest little chocolates ever! Cuteness aside, they are SO YUMMY! They are milk chocolate drops, and the chocolate is really smooth. So GOOD!

Kinder Bueno

Holy moly… THIS was the best thing in the whole box. SO GOOD! It’s a nice smooth milk chocolate covered wafer ( I know more wafers… but seriously, I LOVE WAFERS!) with an AMAZING hazelnut cream center. You have no idea how amazing these are.

There were two packs inside there, and I’ve made myself ration this out. I’m so sad it’s all gone now… I  need to find more of this. STAT.

Niederegger Marzipan

This is a dark chocolate bar filled with marzipan. According to the info sheet, it’s the highest quality marzipan sold commercially in the world. I can attest to that claim. This was delicious!

I can’t wait to see what country comes next! Taste and Curiosity is filled to the brim with delicious snacks. I really everything in the box this month!  At first I was surprised that almost everything was chocolate and hazelnut, but since I love those things, I decided it was a positive. They really do a fantastic job of curating these boxes.

  1. I know I’m kinda late but just wanted to let you know that you can find the Kinder Bueno at World Market or a Bed, Bath and Beyond with a food section. I love them too!

    1. Thank you! I don’t have a World Market around here, but maybe I can find a Bed Bath and Beyond that has them!
