Loot Crate Lvl Up+
14.99$ Per Month – Free Shipping!
Ships Late in Month
There are other types of boxes in the Lvl Up family, like fandom tees, socks and wearables (hoodies, lounge wear, etc). The Loot for Her features things like leggings, totes, jewelry and bags and you do put in your sizing upon sign up. You can also bundle different parts of Lvl Up if you like more than one particular set. This months LFH collection was “Dystopia,” which coincided with the other offerings from Loot Crate in June.
These ship separately from all the other Loot products. Honestly this and Loot Anime ship SUPER LATE in the month, and well into the next month. For me LA arrives by FedEx which then tenders it over to my USPS who then ship it to my face whenever they feel like it. Speaking of LA, I’ve walked off and forgot my SD card literally 4 times this week which have all the photos from that on it. Grrrr.
Each LFH comes with a info pamphlet/folding card that details the items in your sub plus what you got in the other subs. I’ve always found Loot Crate’s shirt sizing to be all over the damn place hence why I never opt in to the wearables (aside from the mandatory shirt in the Anime crate). LFH has been accessories so far though things like leggings are possible. We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.
Attack on Titan Necklace
Attack on Titan is one of those shows I never could stomach watching because of the sheer amount of violence and gore involved. The anime itself centers around Eren and his two friends who join the survey corps to defend what’s left of civilization from Titans – giant humanoid creatures who feast on humans (and have limited/no intelligence until later episodes). From what I’ve read, it’s a great story in the end with a lot of twists but yeah… literally in the first episode you watch Eren’s mother get eaten alive, and in subsequent episodes you lose SEVERAL major characters through various torturous means. Literally the last episode I watched was when they had to dump the bodies out of the wagons to get away from the Titans chasing them. It’s just one of those shows that you’re either REALLY into or you’re not and frankly I’m depressed enough without watching it. That being said, this necklace has a long leatherette chain which extends.
The emblem is that of the survey corps, though there are separate factions if I remember right. Like the elite, main branch and one that’s general guard duty (like border patrol). The pendant itself is a little large for my liking but I do like the embellishments around it.
Firefly Travel Pouch
I’ve never seen Firely so this pouch seemed incredibly basic in design – in fact I kept thinking it was some sort of weird clutch until I finally gained a shred of intelligence and opened the damn thing.
Hot damn. Something amazingly useful!
My only -slight- concern is that it’s very flat now so I don’t know how much leeway there is for items and if it will even still close, since a lot of cosmetics tend to be either amazingly flat or bulky. I’ve been on a handful of trips so I tend to be one of those people who over pack and bring like their entire makeup collection and closet with them. My mother follows a similar approach by bringing our entire kitchen.
Overall I liked this month, especially that pouch for the sheer practicality of it since I’d never seen the show.
If you’re interested in Loot For Her, the cost is 14.99$ per month with free shipping and you can get it here.
