Out of the Box Sampler is a collection of gifts, cards, soaps, wax melts treats and other samples from Etsy makers. This is a one-time only box, so if you want it, you have to act pretty quickly after the box goes live. The theme this month is Marshmallow Madness.

30

I ordered the larger box, so I got samples from all of these creators! Each item ended up costing less than $1.75. I bought this for Easter gifting, and it was perfect for that purpose.

All of the food treats were packed in this separate bag.

35

Ken’s Airy Crunch Peanut Brittle has a fabulous reputation! I am adding these to my Grandpa’s basket, because he has the ultimate sweet tooth.

39

Yummilicous Treats was the box sponsor this month. I received two of their cute little boxes.

38

Inside was a chocolate dipped Peep and a carrot-shaped Rice Krispies treat. My daughter is saving these for her sleepover tonight.

36

this is a three pack peppermint, vanilla bean and strawberry gourmet marshmallows pack by P.S. Sweets. These feel soft and airy and fit the theme perfectly.

34

My favorite item in the food bag was this Turkish Apple Tea by Amanda Rose.

33

I love that it is full of real apples and came with a muslin tea bag.

37

How cute are these bunny cookies by GoodiesbyErikaB? These have also been squirreled away for tonight’s sleepover.

29

There were a ton of wax melts included! These sure made the whole box smell good! That Cinna Bun melt smelled soooo good. Sadly, I don’t have a wax warmer. Some of the companies represented are: Shekinah Candles, Kokopelli Candle, Sunset Coast Candles, Ugly Duckling Designs, The Candle Confectionery, and AbundaScents.

Does anyone else watch Married at First Sight? If so, do you remember Sam’s wax melt collection? I should send these to her!

26

This is a soap sample by Mother’s Nature Store. Isn’t the little package cute?

27

This little heart soap by Round About Botanicals is one of my favorite items in the box. The package is so cute! Their Etsy link isn’t working right now, but I’ll keep trying!

25

I also love these little cuties by Re*Storied Designs! This Organic Eye Cream is in the cutest jar imaginable, and I love the little “peep” clothespin.

24

Hello Kitty? Glitter? Yummy-smelling soap? Yay! Thanks to The Sweet N Salty Bath Shop. They also sent coconut loofahs, Star Wars soaps, bath salts, lip scrubs and solid perfumes.

23

I just love the packaging on this Travel Size Solid Hand & Body Lotion by Pearly Sue’s Naturals.

21

I am a huge fan of bath bombs, so I’ll probably keep this one in Midnight Kiss by A Time Away. They also make darling bath bombs which reveal tiny toys!

20

I love lip balms in tins (I had them when I was a little girl), and this one by MacSuds Soap Company smells delightful and is vegan to boot!

19

These Easter egg earrings by Kidalia Designs are going to my niece. Fun!

8

And these funny chick earrings by Pop Garden are going to my other niece.

18

4Twisted Tarts sent this lovely solid lotion bar. Their lotion bars sell for $12.50. Score. Also, they are organic. Double score.

17

I love anything hand crocheted, so I was happy to see this little scrubby by Jodi’s Craft Emporium.

16

This little chickie scrabble pendant by jbirdistheword is adorable!

15

Here’s a closer view. These sell for $8.99.

14

Yay for organic dog shampoo by Equine Organics. I only wish it was a bigger sample.

13

I love the wrapping on this whipped butter sample in Enchantment by Joie Joelle.

11

Cedar Creek Soaps included this Cane Sugar Body Scrub in Rosemary.

9

Two lip balms! One by Summer’s Skin and one by Replenish Soap Company.

7

This is a fun Frozen pendant – also for a niece – by The Jewelry Box.

6

A little Jamberry Nails kit by Alyanna was included.

5

And, last but not least, I always love receiving greeting cards! I really like both of these by Goldfield Arts and Sycamore Boutique.

Out of the Box Sampler was really fun to open, and I started putting together some sweet little Easter baskets! I would recommend this box if you love to try new products, support Etsy makers, if you need lots of little gifts, or if you are really into wax melts. If you ended up ordering this month, I’d love to know if your collection was different.

I live in Utah with my carnivorous husband, three swell daughters, and two semi-trained dogs at the base of some of the most beautiful mountains in the world. Sometimes I write for money, but usually I just play Candy Crush.

I am a vegan, homeschooling mom who might be a tad obsessed with subscription boxes. My infatuation is evidenced by my uncanny ability to recognize the sound of my mail carrier’s truck engine. I’d like to say don’t judge me, but if I were you, I’d judge me. I love vegan/eco-friendly, literary and thoughtfully curated boxes.

  1. Yay! I’m excited to get mine. I ordered a the regular sized box I hope I get as much wax tarts as you did! Do they send out shipping notifications or I should just expect it soon? Also as a side note you should really get a wax warmer those things are seriously awesome! I got my owl wax warmer at Target for less than $20.

  2. Love your review of our Out Of The Box Sampler ♥ Thanks for taking the time to post a picture of everything…I love that! The mini baskets you put together are just darling…great idea.
